Happy Christmas Season, everyone! Nothing says Christmas at VC better than Mother’s Christmas Tea, a College tradition for so many years! I, for one, start to get that warm and fuzzy yuletide feeling as soon as MCT launches - and I appreciate how it prompts me to start Christmas shopping. On a more serious note, I do love how we cherish our mothers here at VC, and I know our boys, be they elementary performers or 13-Year Men acting as servers, deeply enjoy entertaining them and showing their love in this very boyish way. At Vancouver College, we often talk about our special partnership with our parents, and with all due respect to us Dads, it is really the supermoms that we are mostly referring to! So it is with pride and love that we welcome VC Moms of all ages back into our redecorated Alumni Gym this December! Finally, I would be remiss if I did not thank and acknowledge the months of hard work of our two main Moms of MCT this year, Carmen Chua and Barb Mackenzie. A thousand thank you!
